Thought and Thinking

Urusvati knows how difficult it is for people to perceive through straight-knowledge. This happens because their inner feeling has been separated from their thought. But how can feeling exist without its foundation of thought? People do not differentiate between the process of thinking and thought itself, which is swift as lightning. Thus taught the Thinker.
He spoke of the role of thought in all creation, but this simple affirmation was rejected by people who had made up their minds not to accept the power of thought. In this way the Teacher suffered greatly for thought.
He taught, "Thought is like lightning, and not knowing where a thought originates, you are unable to transform it into words. A thought may strike your consciousness, but without the process of thinking, it will remain unrevealed and lie ungerminated, like a seed in infertile soil. Such dried up thoughts sadden the Teacher, who sends these salutary signs through space. Centuries may be needed for the proper growth of a seed of thought.
"In schools the art of thinking should be studied above all. One should be trained in the art of constant thinking and learn to be ashamed of thoughtlessness. Man is unable not to think, but there is a great difference between harmonious, disciplined thinking and the oscillations of chaotic thoughtlessness, which not only influences man, but space itself. How can man dare to pollute all of space?
"Indeed, the time will come when mankind will finally realize the power of thought. And when man starts to study thought as a special science we may already be on the far-off worlds!"
Thus taught the Thinker, knowing how long it will be before man emerges from the waves of chaos.

Preparing for the Spreading the Teaching

When I was young I asked my father, “Why did Christ teach for only three years?” He replied, “For each year of teaching He prepared for ten years.” When you have preparation and maturity and everything is ready, then your speed, pace of advancement, is very accelerated. In three years of teaching, He created change and revolutionized the whole world. You are going to prepare for a long time in a slow process, but when the time comes for you to actualize your plan, it happens quickly because you know exactly what you have to do.

Help provided to people with Karma

It is especially difficult to help people involved in karma. It may be noticed that each good action encounters a certain counteraction from the one to whom help is sent. Thus is confirmed the ever-presence of the particular energy that is called the guardian of karma. Those who disturb karma, encounter, as it were, a repulse. Each one can recall how his useful counsels have occasioned a most inexplicable rebuff. People who were considered rational have sometimes begun to speak against their own advantage. One should then seek the reason in karmic causes. The guardian of karma is very strong.

Joy and Love-Changing Fate

The “awesome time” is in front of us. It is the time of atomic war, of natural cataclysm, of depression, of hatred, of unemployment, and of the degeneration of morals. It is the time of the increase of crime, drug abuse, pollution, and so on. When the results of all of these are combined, you have the “awesome time” — the Armageddon of the seers.
Before that awesome hour, it is possible to change the direction of life through love and joy, which will lead the planet into sanity, health, purity, and beauty. To work for the welfare of one humanity, we must check our lives and see if there is an increasing joy and love behind all that we think, feel, and do.

Many people, when they start meditating and reading Hierarchical literature, are apt to think that they are now in the Master’s aura, and He will protect them from many evils. Even some students are grieved and angry seeing that their life is not happy or smooth, but that they are passing on a bumpy road with many pains and suffering. 
They occasionally blame their supposed Master, and think that He is failing to give them a pleasant life, comforts, and so on. First of all, your life is the life of your karma. Your life is the manifestation of your past karma. A Master never interferes with the Law of Karma. The Law of Karma is very sacred to Them, and They allow you to confront your karma.

Affirming the name of the Teacher

Command your heart to come as close as possible to the Teacher. If you have to affirm the Teacher in words, begin to converse with Him as if He were right beside you. You should not expect that the Teacher’s reply only come in the form of ordinary words. The answer may appear in a multitude of signs, some of them obvious and near at hand, some of them occurring far away. You should embrace the entire scope of life, so that you are able to discern the signs pertaining to great creativity. People should realize how vast the battlefield of Armageddon is. They should think about the proximity of the Powers of the Higher World. Not being dependent upon the conditions of life, these Powers are able to stand at the shoulder of every striving spirit. Truly, we are affected by the gentle touches of the Subtle World, but we should feel these not only in the quiet of the night but also in the light of day. Human beings are wrong to notice all the subtle sensations only as dusk is falling. Right now is the path to the Light!

Earthly Successes and Failuers

Urusvati knows the inner significance of earthly successes and failures. Even over short periods of time, their karmic significance can be observed, and one can see how at times just one small action tipped the scales, how failure opened the best gates to victory, and success turned into loss. 
One can observe all kinds of events in life, but only a study of the past can provide any clue to their causes. Only one who knows the causes can perceive the higher justice. What people experience as a misfortune may be an unavoidable consequence of actions performed long before.
Events on Earth have not only earthly causes but also supermundane ones. The karmic entanglements resulting from human actions on Earth continue into the Subtle World. True, much can be resolved in the Subtle World, but such resolutions do not take place often, because so many dwellers of the Subtle World make poor use of their opportunities there and spend all their time struggling with the effects of their earthly lives. They do not have sufficient determination to resolve their past errors and thus renew their consciousness. But the Subtle World offers many opportunities for such renewal, for the loftiest supermundane instructions are provided there. Let people remember, and learn to apply them in their future earthly life.

Secrecy and its Importance

There are many patterns in your aura. When you meditate and visualize or imagine creatively, patterns are formed. These patterns take shape, crystallize , and form energy currents in the pool of your aura. Speaking distorts these patterns. THIS IS WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP SILENT FOR WHILE AFTER HEARING A GREAT TEACHING. 
.....When you write something in the sand and then walk on it, the writing disappears. In the same way, your serious plans, decisions and promises are disturbed and distorted by your speech. Do not talk about these things until they are registered by your brain.
If, in your heart you decide to be a certain way, that decision is erased if you tell a friend. Your speech destroys it and prevents it from actualizing. Nicholas Roerich writing in Shamballa, says, "When Tibetians talk about Shamballa, they whisper in your ear so that the patterns in your aura are not disturbed." Even whispering can disturb the patterns. All of your thoughts, wishes, desires and everything you imagine or visualize builds patterns.If you build a beautiful pattern in your aura, do not disturb it; do not erase or superimpose other patterns upon it.This is one of the secrets behind success and failure. We should not talk about our plans and purposes prematurely.
This is the origin of secrecy. If you decide to do something great and then talk it with five people , those five people are now electrically connected to that pattern in your aura.Their thoughts, in addition to your own,totally disturb that plan, and that pattern cannot actualize because you have already destroyed its cause.
There is a great secret behind this: "Energy follows thought." If you learn this, you have learned a tremendous lesson. If you visualize something very beautiful and the next moment you speak about silly things , the beautiful thoughtform in your aura is totally disturbed , distorted and even erased by the second thought and your words. 
This is also the secret behind telepathy. If I send you a telepathic message but, before it reaches you, I start thinking about my shoes , this second message reaches the first thought and destroys it before it reaches you. How are you going to prevent this? If you sent a great message, be sure to keep mentally silent for half an hour to allow the "rocket" to reach its destination;
This is why you should keep silent about the great visions, plans and decisions between you and your Soul. Intensity, power and tension are immediately lost when you speak about them.When the tension is gone, the result is gone.
....DO NOT DISTURB AND ANNIHILATE THE FOUNDATION AND CAUSE OF THE VISION THAT YOU HAVE BUILT IN THE MENTAL REALMS WITH YOUR MENTAL SUBSTANCE.
This applies throughout the teaching.Pythogoras taught his disciples not to discuss the Teaching until he gave them permission. This prevented the students from talking about the teachings before they really knew what they were saying. He knew that the pattern he was building in their aura would be disturbed and distorted if they spoke about it prematurely. This is why Pythogoras ordered a five year preparatory period during which no one could talk or ask questions about the Teaching.
When a teacher speaks, he builds certain patterns in the aura of the student. Sources of Evil- Lord Buddha

According to tradition, the attainment of illumination by Gotama was marked by the revelation of “the chains of causation” (Twelve Nidānas). The problem which tormented him for many years was solved. Meditating from cause to effect, Gotama revealed the source of evil:
Existence is pain, because it contains old age, death and myriads of pains.
I suffer because I am born.
I am born because I belong to the world of existence.
I exist because I nourish existence within me.
I nurture existence because I have desires.
I have desires because I have sensations.
I have sensations because I come in touch with the outer world.
This touch is produced by the action of my six senses.
My senses are manifested because being a personality I oppose myself to the impersonal.
I am a personality because I have a consciousness imbued with the consciousness of this personality.
This consciousness was created as a consequence of my former existences.
These existences obscured my consciousness because I had no knowledge.
