A beggar would indeed be acting foolishly were he were to go to the king's palace and beg for such insignificant things as gourds and pumpkins. Such a devotee would be acting foolishly were he to at the threshold of the King of Kings and beg for psychic powers,neglecting the priceless gifts of true Knowledge and love of God.
