A disciple is one who dedicates himself to the Teacher and makes a promise. For example, he promises to learn, to serve, to be silent. He promises to live for the upliftment of humanity, for spreading right human relations, to stand for Beauty, Goodness and Truth.Unless he makes such promises and gives his word of honor, he cannot admitted as a disciple. After he is admitted, an etheric thread comes into being, linking the Teacher and the disciple. This thread is severed if the disciple becomes an apostate and turns into a merchant of lies, darkness and hate or a merchant of exploitation.
When the thread is severed there is a wound in the person's etheric body. It is through such a wound that dark forces obsess and possess the apostate. It is a severe mistake to give oneself to the Teacher and deny him.Once a man enters the right path, he should not turn back.
